Haumaniastrum katangense (also called Katanga Leather Orchid, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species that is native to tropical Africa. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. It grows in grasslands, savannas, and woodlands.
