Xyris obcordata (also called 'Heart-shaped Wedge-sedge', among many other common names) is a species of sedge native to the southeastern United States. It is a small, clump-forming perennial with narrow, grass-like leaves and yellow-green flowers. It prefers to grow in moist, sandy soils and is commonly found in woodlands and wetlands.
