Description
Tectaria acutiloba (also called Sharp-lobed Horsetail Fern, among many other common names) is a fern species in the family Tectariaceae. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, Africa, and Asia, and is found in moist forests, thickets, and along streams. It has a creeping rhizome and long-stalked, bipinnate fronds.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Tectaria acutiloba has small, yellowish-green flowers, which are followed by small, brownish-black seeds. The seedlings are small, with a single pair of leaves.
