Selaginella brevipes (also called 'Short-stalked Selaginella' or 'Short-stalked Spikemoss', among many other common names) is a small, evergreen fern native to tropical regions of the Americas. It grows in moist, shady habitats, often in the crotches of trees or on the sides of rocks.
