Description
Potentilla persica (also called Persian Cinquefoil, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant that is native to the Caucasus Mountains, Iran, and Central Asia. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands. It has bright yellow flowers and deeply divided leaves.

The flowers of Potentilla persica are yellow, small and star-shaped. The seeds are small, dark brown and round. The seedlings have small, oval-shaped leaves.
