Polytaenium chlorosporum (also called Green Polytaenium, among many other common names) is a small herb native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, Africa and the Americas. It has a prostrate or climbing growth habit and its leaves are alternate, simple, ovate-lanceolate, and serrate. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is often found in tropical and subtropical forests.
