Cultivation and Propagation

Hemionitis mollis is a tropical fern that is easy to cultivate and propagate. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade. Propagation is done by division of the rhizomes or by spores. The rhizomes should be divided in spring or early summer and replanted in a new location. Spores should be sown in a moist, sterile medium and kept in a warm, humid environment until germination occurs.
