Description
Potamogeton tricarinatus (also called Three-veined Pondweed, among many other common names) is an aquatic plant found in shallow water in lakes, ponds, and slow-moving streams. It has a reddish stem and bright green leaves that are usually oval in shape. Native to Europe, it grows in a variety of habitats including shallow water, mud, and sand.
