Description
Polytrichum perigoniale (also called Perigonial Haircap Moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss found in North America and Europe. It grows in moist, shady areas, often in woodlands, and has a light green color. Its stems are up to 10 cm tall and the leaves are up to 5 mm long. The leaves are arranged in a spiral pattern, and the capsules are erect and curved.
