Deschampsia cordillerarum (also called Cordilleran Hairgrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to South America. It is an evergreen grass with thin, wiry leaves. It grows in temperate climates in lowland and mountain areas. It is found in open forests, along roadsides, and in disturbed habitats.
