Cymbopogon pendulus (also called Pendulous lemongrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. It is an annual grass growing up to 1 m tall, with an erect stem and a tuft of leaves at the top. It grows in moist, shady areas such as riverbanks and damp forests.
