Neocogniauxia monophylla (also called Monophylla neocogniauxia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Arecaceae. It is a slender, solitary palm with a slender trunk, up to 10 m tall, and pinnate leaves up to 3 m long. It is native to the Caribbean and Central America, where it is found in wet forests, swamps, and along streams.
