Description
Brachyotum radula (also called Bristle-leaf Brachyotum, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Melastomataceae family. It is native to tropical regions of South America, and is found in lowland rainforest habitats.

The flower of Brachyotum radula is a small, white, bell-shaped flower with a yellow center. The seed is a small, black, oval-shaped seed. The seedlings are small, green, oval-shaped seedlings.
Cultivation and Propagation
Brachyotum radula is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 10 feet in height. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Propagate by seed or cuttings. Cuttings should be taken from semi-ripe wood in the summer and rooted in a moist, well-drained medium. Seeds should be sown in a warm, moist environment and kept at a temperature of around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
