Persea fusca (also called Chinese May Apple, among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree or shrub with a rounded crown and a single or multiple trunks. It is native to China, India, and Southeast Asia and typically grows in forests, thickets, and along streams. It has leathery, glossy, dark green leaves and small yellowish-green flowers.
