Cultivation and Propagation

Gnetum camporum is a tropical evergreen shrub native to South East Asia. It is easy to propagate from cuttings taken in spring or summer. Take a cutting of around 10 cm in length and remove the lower leaves. Dip the cutting in a rooting hormone and place in a pot filled with a well-draining potting mix. Place the pot in a warm, sheltered position and keep the soil moist. After a few weeks, the cutting should have rooted and can be transplanted into the garden.
