Gentiana walujewii (also called Gentian, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the mountains of Central Asia. It has a rosette of basal leaves and a single stem with a single flower. The flowers are usually white or pale blue in color. It is found in moist meadows, grasslands, and open woodlands.
