Description
Frullania papillilobula (also called Papillilobulate Frullania, among many other common names) is a small, perennial, evergreen liverwort with a creeping thallus. It is native to the tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Australia, and is found in moist, shady habitats such as forests and grasslands.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Frullania papillilobula has small, yellow-green flowers with 4-6 tepals. Its seeds are small and brown, and its seedlings have a single, oval-shaped leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Frullania papillilobula can be propagated by division or by stem cuttings. The cuttings should be placed in a moist, sterile medium and kept in a warm, humid environment. Spores can also be sown on a moistened, sterile medium.
