Description
Frullania motoyana (also called Motoyana-frullania, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Metzgeriaceae. It is found in Japan. It grows in moist, shady places, such as in forests and along streams.

Frullania motoyana has small, yellow-green flowers with three sepals and three petals. Its seeds are small, round and black in color. The seedlings are small and have a single cotyledon.
