Leptotrichella assamica (also called Assam's Leptotrichella, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Lejeuneaceae. It is a small, yellow-green thallose liverwort with a smooth surface. It is native to India and Sri Lanka, and it is found in wet, shaded habitats.
