Description

Gahnia novocaledonensis (also called New Caledonian Saw Sedge, among many other common names) is a perennial grass-like plant native to Australia and New Zealand. It grows to a height of 0.3-1.2 m and has long, narrow leaves with sharp-toothed edges. It is found in wet areas such as swamps, marshes, and along streams and rivers.
