Description
Calyptrocarya monocephala (also called single-headed calyptrocarya, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to South America. It grows up to 1 meter in height and has a woody stem. The leaves are alternate, lanceolate, and up to 10 cm long. It is found in dry, rocky soils in prairies, open woodlands and savannas.
