Description
Rosulabryum viridescens (also called Green Rosulabryum, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Bryaceae. It is found in the Northern Hemisphere, in Europe, Asia, and North America. It grows in moist, shady places, such as in woods, on rocks, and in grassy meadows.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Rosulabryum viridescens has small, yellow flowers, with a single, small, yellow seed. The seedlings are small and have a single, small, yellow leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Rosulabryum viridescens can be propagated by spores or by division of the rhizome. Cultivation is best done in moist, acidic soils with plenty of organic matter. It prefers partial shade and can tolerate full sun.
