Description
Varronia corchorifolia (also called Corchorus Vervain, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 10 m tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 10 cm. It is native to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, and is found in dry forests, scrublands, and coastal areas.

The flowers of Varronia corchorifolia are small, white and tubular. The seeds are small, black and oval-shaped. The seedlings are small, with thin stems and small, round leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Varronia corchorifolia is a succulent plant that can be propagated by stem cuttings. It is best grown in a well-draining soil mix and should be kept in a sunny spot. Water regularly during the growing season, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings. In winter, reduce watering to once every two weeks.
