Description
Echeandia attenuata (also called False Aloe, among many other common names) is a species of succulent plant in the family Asparagaceae. It is native to Mexico, and is found in the states of Guerrero, Oaxaca, and Puebla. It grows in dry, rocky, open areas, often in partial shade.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Echeandia attenuata has white, bell-shaped flowers with yellow centers. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are thin and light green.
Cultivation and Propagation
Echeandia attenuata can be propagated by division or stem cuttings. It prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Water when the top inch of soil is dry and fertilize monthly during the growing season.
