Hydnora visseri (also called 'Hydnora', 'Hydnora africana', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Hydnoraceae. It is a parasitic plant with no chlorophyll and no roots. It is native to Africa and is found in dry, sandy soils. It is common in South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana.
