Oedibasis apiculata (also called Apiculate Asafoetida, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Central Asia and the Middle East. It has a thick, fleshy, carrot-like root and an erect stem that can reach up to 1.5 m in height. It grows in dry, rocky areas and open woodlands.
