Description
Centella cordifolia (also called Gotu Kola, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to India, Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, Australia, and other parts of Asia. It grows in moist, shady places, such as wetlands, and is often found in the shallow waters of ponds and streams. It has heart-shaped leaves and small white flowers.
Cultivation and Propagation
Centella cordifolia can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers a moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. It can be grown in containers, and can be propagated by division in the spring. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius.
