Xylopia talbotii can be propagated from seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained potting mix and kept moist until germination. Cuttings should be taken from healthy, mature plants and rooted in a moist, well-draining potting mix. The plants should be kept in a warm, humid environment and given plenty of light.
